John has a wide breadth of strategic business experience in government, corporate and academic settings. He is currently the Program Director of the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Yorkville University and is very involved outside of his role in various professional and academic pursuits. Academically, outside of YU, John also teaches at Trinity Western University and has taught several courses at the University of New Brunswick.

 

John’s main area of research is within the area of positive psychology in the workplace. John co-authored the recent validation article for the Mental Fitness and Resiliency Inventory (MFRI) and it was published in 2020 in the International Journal of Workplace Health Management.

 

John has held various roles in HR, marketing, and sales management, working within North American and international markets. In a full-time capacity, he worked most recently with Irving Consumer Products where he managed the recruitment process across the business. John has also earned professional certifications and designations in finance, change management and talent management/optimization.
